Since upgrading to El Capitan  this week, I cannot "save as" in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.5.5. I've checked all the settings in Acrobat Pro and nothing is different. I've made sure not to save a file as a read only everything is unlocked and I am not saving anything as a PDF/A. Does anyone know what is wrong?

Hi coffeeforu2,

Acrobat 9 is not compatible with the Mac OS El Capitan, so its not possible to predict how it will behave. Adobe Acrobat system requirements

You can try this: Open your Acrobat and navigate to Edit menu > Preferences > General and uncheck the option " Show online storage when saving files". Click OK to save the changes.

Regards,
Meenakshi

Meenakshi,

Thank you, I'll try it on Monday when I get to work. I did come up with a work around, but it adds a few extra steps to each doc  I create and then try to edit. I made a new folder and opened up the doc I wanted to edit in the original folder, made the edits then saved in the new folder. That got me through the day. What a long day it was.

Thank you again,

coffeeforu2
