Hi all,

I have some multipage pdf's. I need to get them split and renamed.

Every page in the PDF contains a 6 digit order-number. This number is always in the same place.

Every page should get the the name of the order-number. For Example "123456.pdf"

How am i able to do this?

I'm using Acrobat Pro DC on a mac ^^.

do i need to use other software? Any scripts?

thanks.

My thinking is this might be scriptable. It depends if the object with the number is tagged in someone probably. I'm moving this post to the JavaScript forum for that reason.

Yes, this can be achieved using a script, most likely. However, this is not a trivial task.

I'm happy to take a look at a sample file and let you know if I think it's doable. And if so, how much it will cost.

You can share it publicly by uploading it to Dropbox, Google Drive, Adobe Cloud, etc., and then post the link to it here, or you can send it to me privately to try6767 at gmail.com.
