I have an MS Word document with images and text. In the Word document, the image is sent to back, and assigned as behind text. However when converting using Acrobat 11, the text is hidden behind the image. As the text is the page number in the header, fixing this will require rearranging in every instance.
Is there a way to get Acrobat to follow the Word layout correctly - or, failing that, to multiple/batch rearrange?
Thanks
bruce
Hi Bruce,
As you are unable to update your Acrobat. As a workaround you can try switching off "Enable accessibility and reflow with tagged Adobe PDF" option in Acrobat->Preferences of the Acrobat ribbon for Word and check if it fixes you issue. Please note switching off this option will result in creation of untagged pdf's.

Hi,
Could you please update Acrobat X1 to the latest version. A similar issue was fixed in Acrobat 11.0.11. Do share the bug file with us if updating Acrobat doesnt address the issue. You can mail the bug file to me at balam@adobe.com.
