Has anyone else had this problem? When I try to edit a document that scanned as a PDF doc, it's clumsy, difficult to delete exactly what I want to delete. difficult to line everything up into a straight line, things disappear, move, or combine with things that I don't want them combined with. I can't figure out how to change the boxes to include what I want and exclude what I don't want. It's clumsy and difficult at best and a real headache at worse.

First: Which program are you referring to? You are in a general Adobe Community forum.
Second: When you say "scanned as a PDF", do you mean like from a flatbed scanner?

Moved to the Acrobat forums.
Editing a scanned document of any format is always going to be a challenge. PDFs were never intended to be editable documents, and scanned PDFs have none of the internal structure that identifies page objects and groupings. The fact you can do anything to those files in Acrobat is way beyond what users of previous versions ever thought possible.
