to obtain serial number for installation of Adobe reader XI

I just have downloaded Adobe reader XI, and I am asked for a serial number. Could you please send me the serial number I have to use, because it was not provided with the download

there is no serial number for reader.  you probably downloaded an acrobat installation file.
