Tried to Download purchased Adobe DC and failed-not an administrator message

I just spent 45 minutes trying to download the Adobe DC program that I had purchased on-line after the 30 day trial.  I received an error message saying something to the effect that I needed to be an administrator in order to complete the download.  I am not on a network. This is a single computer.  Can anyone help me so that I don't go thru the same issue over again?  I appreciate your assistance.

Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)

If you completed the trial and didn't uninstall AND if you subscribed (not permanent license) you can just convert the trial.
