Hi, on a fillable form that I have created, I don't want the font size to be auto. I double click on the text and I change the properties so that the font is at size 6, so that when the user types in a number or whatever it fits in the box. However, it keeps on changing back to auto. This happens on only some of the text fields and not all. I have found no correlation or cause on what this could be. Thanks for the help.
I found the problem. Apparently I cannot use my keyboard to type in the font size I wish to use. I have to use the Drop-down menu and choose that way. If I type it in myself it always reverts back to Auto, but when I use the drop down menu it seems to apply correctly.

If you have Acrobat and can edit the form you can change the field's font size. If you set the form field to use the Rich Text format, you or others can change the font size and othe properties.

Hi glaiseril,
I read you message from a year ago about changing font size onn Adobe Forms by setting the form field to use Rich Text format. Can you reply to tell me how to do that. Thanks, Vicci

In Form Edit mode right-click the field and select Properties. You'll see this setting under the Options tab.

I figured out how to change font size plus other properties:
Edit Font Size after creating a Field(s):
General: check Required if so
Appearance: select & set font size
Options: check Spelling, Multi-line (if necessary), Scroll long text, Allow rich text formatting
