unable to activate

I installed version Xi, but when I try to activate, it states the license number I have doesn't correspond to the software on my system.  How do we fix this?

Please share the exact error message you are getting .

If this is an upgrade version & you are getting the ,message for previous version product serial number then refer to this KB article :- https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-serial-number-qualifying-product.html
