Unable to print documents in Windows 7 using the right click menu on the file.

Since installing pdf maker on a Windows 7 PC, every time we try to print a document by right clicking the file Office freezes and requires restarting.

I have seen many posts which advise disabling the Acrobat PDFMaker add-in as a solution to this problem, but this is not an option as the add-in is frequently used.

What versions of everything? PDFMaker isn't a specific product but part of Acrobat Standard or Acrobat Pro. So what version of Acrobat and of Word?
