Several users are having issues with their printing not working in Adobe. They can Print Word, Excel, but not PDF files from Adobe. Also the Adobe PDF printer randomly stops working for these same people. Their computer's acted fine, until we upgraded their professional from X to DC? Usually stopping and restarting the print spooler will work, reboot will usually get it going again. BTW, running on Windows 7 Pro.
Happens most often if:
The user has more than one PDF open. Sometimes closing all but the one they want to print helps.
Finds it interesting that he cannot print a PDF from a shared file location but can go to an internet location with the same file and print it just fine.

You might try the following steps:
1- Disable Protected View- launch Acrobat>navigate to Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>select Off under Protected View and click OK. Then relaunch Acrobat and see if it works.
I would like to mention that disabling Protected View is for troubleshooting purpose only and not recommended, please turn the feature back on after finishing the troubleshooting.
2- If that doesn't work, try to follow the step given in this link: Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader
3- If step 2 doesn't work, remove preferences for the users.
Close Acrobat DC, go to C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\Acrobat version, move the entire [Acrobat version] folder to some other location like temp folder .
To view temp folder, press Windows+ R key on your keyboard, type temp in the run dialogue box then press enter.
If App data folder is not visible under your user name, launch Windows Explorer then click Organize in the top left corner of the screen>then click Folder and search options>under View>Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files, folders and drives>then click Apply and OK, launch Acrobat again and check if its printing without any issue.
4- If step 3 doesn't work, try to repair Acrobat installation, under Help menu>select Repair Installation.
Could you please let me know what kind of environment do you have?
Is there any error message you are getting when trying to print?
Thank You,
Shivam

The thread you’re responding to is 2years old. There is no reference to booklet printing and OP did not return after his initial post.
I suggest you elaborate your problem so that you can get qualified help.
