I have been running Acrobat Pro DC for some time now, and just updated per Creative Cloud to Vesion: 2015.016.20045

Since doing so, I am unable to utilize shared review functions. When attempting to initiate a shared email review, I cannot even progress to the second step using the "NEXT" button provided... it simply doesn't initiate a thing. In addition, when attemting to initiate a shared review on our network server, I can't get past the first step. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat, and just applied a patch. Still nothing. This is quite frustrating as the shared review functionality seems to be going in reverse as far as functionality goes... used to work perfectly and saved us time and effort. Not happening at the moment. Can anyone assist?

I have finally figured out what to do.  I ran into the same problem.  Open Adobe.  Go to Edit, and then down to "Preferences".  When it opens the new window, go to the left side pane and click on "Reviewing".  Under "Shared Review Options," if "Share for review using Adobe Document Cloud" is checked, uncheck it.  That should result in the next three items being checked.  If it doesn't, check all three.  Then on the left side, go to "Security (Enhanced)".  On the right side, at the top, uncheck "Protected Mode".  At this point, you will need to restart your computer.  Once I restarted my computer, this allowed me to use our internal drive.

Now open the document you want to send.  Click on "Send for Comments".  At the top of the document, it should have "Send for Comments by Email", "Send for Shared Commenting".  I use "Send for Shared Commenting".  That opens the window on "How do you want to collect comments from your reviewers".  If you are familiar with this, then you should be able to do it from here.  And you shouldn't run into an issue with saving it to your internal server.  If not, send me an email at dlaroche@marathonpetroleum.com and I'll give you instructions along with screen shots.

I have spent over 80 hours trying to figure this out myself.  I have asked our IT people for help.  It was very frustrating.  I truly believe I can save you the frustration.  (Note:  my problem is I want to use the cloud but when I save it to the cloud, and I send out the shared review, it sends an email to everyone and no one is able to access the shared review when they click on the link.  If you know the answer to this, please tell me!)   Thanks!  Deb Laroche.
