uninstall of acrobat pro 8.1 on win 10 will not complete. need help

my windows 10 crashed and had to reinstall Win 10 from scratch.  Lost all my apps.  Have a lic for acrobat pro 8 and cs4.  not doing anything with cs4 yet.  did what seemed like a successful install of pro 8 but it would not start.  it suggested that I try an uninstall/reinstall.  uninstall will not complete.  I have not tried to do a process stop from task manager yet.  Can someone help.

You might have experienced this due to incompatibility of Acrobat 8 with Windows 10.

You could try using the cleaner tool once and see if that helps to uninstall Acrobat 8.

On right track.  I used a copy of Revo Uninstaller and it did work.   thanks to all who helped.
