Updating Acrobat on Mac not possible

I just started with adobe Cloud Service and downloaded the recent DC versions of Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Acrobat DC is the only one unable to update. I always get the same error message (german).

It tells me I should uninstall Acrobat before updating on Acrobat DC. But I can't find any acrobat programm on my computer to uninstall.

Find attached also my mac version.

I hope you could help me.

it looks like you have reader installed.

uninstall all reader and acrobat versions.

then try install acrobat dc.

1. No, the Reader would not cause any problem to be installed on the mac.

Ok, nun zur Antwort.

Du hast El Capitan. Hast aber CS5.x-Versionen installiert. El Capitan ist mit CS5.x völlig inkompatibel.

Ich weiß nicht wie Du jetzt Deine Programme installiert hast, aber diese Fehlermeldung kommt häufig zustande, wenn die Programme über Migration aus einer Datensicherung, aus TimeMachine oder von einem anderen Computer installiert werden. Das funktioniert bei Adobe nicht.

Wie dem aus sei. Deinstalliere ALLES was Adobe ist. Bei den CS5.5-Versionen vergiss nicht, diese zu deaktivieren. Voher!

Nun musst Du das Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool laufen lassen und ALLES was Adobe ist ausmisten.

Du hast irgendwo Dateireste, wahrscheinlich, so meine Vermutung, durch Migration erzeugt, die der Installer und die verschiedenen Alias, die darauf zeigen sollten, nicht finden.

Hallo zusammen

Ich habe alles, restlos alles, deinstalliert. War auch noch eine CS 5.5 Version drauf und ich glaube die hat hier Probleme gemacht.

Nach der Neuinstallation funktioniert nun alles.
