I just now upgraded our copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro. I built several forms using this software about 7 years. My question is: Do I have to rebuild the forms on the newly upgraded software, or is there a way to upgrade the existing forms to the last Adobe Acrobat Pro version?

You don't need to "upgrade" or "re-build" the form using the new version. It should work just fine as is.

If I may -- how is that possible? The old forms automatically "inherit" the upgrade? I'm not doubting your answer, and I very much appreciate that you took the time to respond to my question. But, I'm also confused -- for example, do I have to take down the existing forms on our website and replace them now that I've upgraded the software?

The two things are completely separate from one another. The forms exist on their own and your application exist on its own.
You can completely remove the application from your computer and the forms will still work (unless you use the Distribute Form command, or something like that).
There's nothing to upgrade in the forms. If they work correctly, leave them as they are.
