Using Shared PDFs With DropBox

Explorer ,
Mar 10, 2016 Mar 10, 2016

I see that Acrobat and DropBox have become workflow partners...good move on both parts.

My question is: then why can't I create a shared PDF in DropBox? I can move the PDF into a DropBox folder after I create it but it loses connection to the folder that contains the XML files, and I can't create that folder anywhere other than a network server or internal web server. I tried moving the folder to the same DropBox folder with the PDF but the PDF doesn't connect to it, so it doesn't act the same (there's no "Publish Comments" function). You can still annotate the PDF but the comments aren't stored in the XML file, plus each reviewer has to have the physical PDF on their computer in a DropBox folder. I tried opening the PDF that resides in the web DropBox folder (which opens in a browser window), but there aren't any annotation tools.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to handle this?

Thanks,

Lloyd
