I am unable to add a watermark to a PDF that I created in LiveCycle. The program states that I do not have permission. Any ideas/solutions ??

You can only edit LCD files in LCD, not in Acrobat.

Thanks.....

New to this...Why do I only see add watermarks in Adobe Acrobat (X-pro) and not in LCD ??

Can I add a watermark in LCD ? If so, where do I find that ?

George

I don't believe LCD has such a feature.

I believe you are right.

I know I can add watermarks in Acrobat, it seems documents that I created in LCD will not allow it.

I'll find another way to get this done.

Thanks for the info.

Designer files are not really PDF files in the usual sense. They contain an XML form, that Acrobat and Reader can show on screen.  All the normal PDF editing things cannot apply, because they would add to a PDF page that actually does not exist - only the XML form. So every solution has to be inside the Designer/XML/XFA world.
