We have installed Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on Server 2012 R2. When attempting to open it crashes with "Adobe Acrobat has stopped working". We were previously using on Server 2008 R2 which worked fine.

Application has been upgraded from version 11.0.10 to 11.0.12.  But it still crashes.

Does anyone else have this issue running Adobe Acrobat Xi Pro on Server 2012 R2?

Hi adamd98893270

Would Like to inform you that Acrobat XI Pro is not compatible on Windows Server 2012 R2, it will be keep showing you such behavior in future as well .

You may refer to this KB article for this :- http://www.adobe.com/content/dotcom/si/products/acrobatpro/tech-specs.html

Meanwhile,You may also check with these steps as well    :-

Please navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.dll and then move Acrobat.dll file to desktop and then repair Acrobat XI Pro from control panel.

Also Please follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat Software :- https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1595848

Now launch Acrobat & check if it still crashes or not.

Regards,

Yatharth
