When I try to print a document to pdf I get strange characters

When I try to print a document to pdf the Characters come up strange

Please check if there is any update available for the software after going through "Help > check for updates"

Would like to know the where the file is being saved on network or local drive . If its on network , please save it on local drive.

Please try to recreate the document using the Adobe PDF printer or print as an image options.

Also would like to know is this happening with this document or with others as well.

Are you on Reader or Acrobat?Please specify the version.

Also tell the OS you work on.
