Why can't I edit text box font in acrobat pro 11.0.14?

New Here ,
Feb 12, 2016 Feb 12, 2016

I created a text box, but I cannot edit font, color, etc.

After multiple installs and updates I seem to be missing the full-features of text box functions as shown on blogs, forums, youtube instruction videos.

Help, I need to edit text TODAY!

Hi 99291256,

Please let us know if you are using Edit PDF or Comment option as there is no option to create text box under Edit PDF.

If you are using Edit PDF,  you can get the option to change colour, size and style at right pane. Check screenshot for help.

Hi,

I am using Drawing Markups, Text Box.

I need to edit the font size, color and type of the text in the Text Box.

I am not using Edit PDF.

I am not using the Comment option.

My version of Adobe doesn’t look like the screenshot example you sent.

Can you still help?

Select the text in the box and then press Ctrl+E. It will open a floating toolbar with all of the formatting options for the text.

If only life were that simple, my CTRL+E results in a toolbar which seems to be missing the necessary

components for editing text.

Ref screenshot. Clicking the button for More… opens another window, which is also missing the necessary

text editing components per Adobe.

If you want to attach a screenshot you have to do it directly from the forum (not via email) and use the Camera icon.

Sorry, I’m an incredibly busy engineer, no time to learn how to use a forum to solve problems – too busy solving real problems.

I was originally hoping to contact Adobe, but all of their support points me to a forum.

Thanks for trying..
