Why does adobe have shit support

I have a $300 piece of software and i have to hunt through a forum to solve a reinstall issue. #pathetic.  #googledocsarebetter

I am getting this error like a lot of other people without a solution.

Is there a REAL solution to this.  Paying for Adobe products does not seem smart with this level of support.

It is to reinstall Adobe Acrobat 9 after i did an upgrade from XP to Windows 7.

that error is often because the installation file and serial number aren't exactly matched.

eg, if the serial number is for a suite, you must use the suite installation file, not one program from the suite's installation file, Error: "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Adobe Creative Suite

It is a Stand Alone Version of Acrobat 9 Standard.  I do not have access to the old hard drive.  There is no ability to do a trial version of the software.

Downloaded the file will not let me install without serial.  Can not register serial with adobe. 

This problem happens a lot and people that have it do not have a working solution made available to them.

of course, you need a valid serial number.  that's used to determine whether you have a legal right to use adobe's software.

I do and have used the program for 5 Years without problem.
