Why does Adobe open up a blank word page when creating PDF's from Word documents?

Every time I create a PDF from a Word document since I installed Windows 10, it opens up a blank word page as well.  How can I fix this?

Hi Joshua Bartleson,

Please try to uninstall Adobe application using cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  and restart your system.

Then try to re-install application from here:

• Adobe Reader : Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution
• Adobe Acrobat : Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Let us know if issue still persists.
