Also please share if you are scanning from TWAIN or WIA driver.

Doesn't matter which one I choose; won't work with either

Hi Robert,

Please update Acrobat once from Help> Check for updates. And check if it works after that.

Thanks.

Lovekesh Garg

Please see screenshot attached.

Adobe Acrobat XI Pro has no "Help> Check for updates" selection capability.

What next??

I couldn't see this images you provided.

Can you please send me the images on my email. Also this document feeder issue should not be there with TWAIN.

Right now 11.0.17 is available in market. So please update Acrobat once. You can download it from 11.0.17 Planned update, July 12, 2016 — Acrobat and Adobe Reader Release Notes

Please try following:

Open Acrobat.

Go to File > Create > PDF from Scanner > Custom Scan...

From the Custom Scan dialog box, select TWAIN drivers option

Click on 'Options' button next to it

Select User Interface option as Show Scanner Native Interface

Click Ok & Scan

This will bring Scanner native interface window and you can select Document Feeder as source.

Also try to scan from scanner itself instead of Acrobat, to make sure ADF of scanner is working.

Thanks.

Don't worry i have solution for you as i also has experience of this same issue, still the same troubleshooting tips that i was use may be help you. I pick these tips from Hp Officejet Pro 8620 Manual . You can compare your current printer situation with following conditions to fix issue:

  • Perform scanning using only WIA drivers.
  • Use latest version drivers. Make sure your drivers may not be corrupted.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Use different color mode to re-scan.
  • Sometimes that account that we made for adobe applications get corrupt thus try new one.

So these are some options that i use to fix my issue.
