Will not allow to: File save as -> other "reduced file PDF" or "optimized PDF" etc Adobe Pro DC Mac 2015

I downloaded and subscribed for one month Adobe Pro DC for Mac and it worked well.  I found a great educational discount and purchased the same product from Academicsuperstore.com and downloaded the installer, installed (after prompting to remove previous), and then sent to Adobe to obtain license # which was emailed, and successfully completed install.  Working ok EXCEPT when I try to save file as other such as reduced file or optimized.  THEN I am prompted that I need to buy or license the product and requests the license number, which I re-enter, but it is readily rejected.

Ideas?  Full uninstall and reinstall?  Thank you in advance!

Thanks meena...,

Was getting ready to do just that, which would have likely fixed the problem.  HOWEVER, turned out my earlier demo was under one Adobe ID and my recent separately purchased version was under another ID.  After chatting with Adobe for about 30 minutes they "migrated" the earlier ID info to my new ID, and I was able to register the product, and whatever the consensus is on Adobe Chat Support , at least, it was a solid success.

Thanks for your sound recommendations!

Hi scmesser,

Please try to uninstall Acrobat Pro DC and then install it again from this link : Download Adobe Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | DC, XI, X

Check if this resolves the issue.

Let me know if you still experience the issue.

Regards,

Meenakshi
