Windows 7, Scanner that works with Photoshop fine, crashes with latest Acrobat Pro DC

New Here ,

I'm running Windows 7 and my scanner is a "Kodak esp 3.2" - Which is connected both wirelessly and by USB cable to my powerful HP 840 server machine.

No issues with the scanner - Photoshop CC can scan from it flawlessly without issue via WIA support.

Uninstalled my old Acrobat X, granted scanning was no longer working on that anyway, so thought a complete uninstall and update to Acrobat Pro DC would sort the issue out.

So a brand new install today, latest update from Adobe website - 15.010.20056

Pro DC still crashes when I try to start scanning - Won't open any dialog.

File -> Create -> PDF from Scanner -> <anything here> will cause the program to crash.

Open up Adobe Photoshop - Import via WIA support works instantly as normal.

This is a very major part of Acrobat - to be able to scan documents - Please Adobe, please fix this. This is crazy.
