Windows cannot find AcroTray.exe

I installed Acrobat XI pro in February and it has worked fine until fairly recently I get the error when I try to print to a pdf : "Windows cannot find 'C:Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\AcroTray.exe'"  When I try to repair, I get the error message "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid".  When I try to uninstall the program, Windows 10 does nothing.  I did upgrade from Acrobat 10 pro.  Any suggestions/solutions would be great.

Hi woodman2013,

Please try these following steps :-

1) Close Acrobat application and close all acrobat processes from task manager.

2) Go to "Control Panel" -> "Programs" -> "Programs and Features" -> "Uninstall a program" and select "Adobe Acrobat DC".

Click "Change" and select "Repair" from the following dialog.

After product repair is done, restart the machine and then try printing to pdf again.

Let me know if it works.

Regards,

Yatharth

Thank you Yatharth-

I don't have DC installed, only Acrobat XI Pro.  When I go to the 'uninstall or change program' and try to change or uninstall XI Pro, I receive an error message stating "Error applying transforms.  Verify that the specified transform paths are valid."

Funny that I cannot even uninstall the program?

Thanks,

Cedar
