Won't save file because it is supposedly Read Only, but I am not in read-only. The file is NOT read-only. I've checked by accessing the Properties on the file.

The error message says:

"The file may be read-only, or another user may have it open. Please save the doent with a different name or in a different folder."

Hi farukp69792329 ,

Please provide the exact dot version of Acrobat & OS installed on your system. This is file is saved on network drive or local. If its save on Network drive would suggest you to save it on local drive.

If its Windows, please disable the preview pane feature .

If you are still getting the same message

Turn off Adobe's Protected Mode

go to Edit->Preferences -> security enhanced

uncheck Enable Enhanced Security.

Regards,

Yatharth

The file is saved on my local drive.  I am using Windows and I disabled the preview pane feature and that fixed my problem!  Thank you so much!
