When exporting a docx file from Word 2016 the formatting does not maintain consistency. Most of the formatting changes I've seen are on page, line, and paragraph breaks. It most cases I've had to manually add additional spaces in between paragraphs, headings, etc., in order to make it look right in Adobe. Any one know how to resolve this? I've also tried printing to PDF and save as PDF, both of which have the same results.

Hi Scott
How are you creating the PDF from Word?
What version of Acrobat are you using? Which OS?
Thanks

I've tried several different ways to create the PDF from Word, including
Export to PDF, Save As, and Print to PDF, all of which have the same
result. I'm using Word 2026 and Acrobat Pro 10.

Hi Scott
Are you printing to Adobe PDF Printer when using the Print route or are you using Microsoft's Print to PDF option?
Please reach out to Microsoft as Export to PDF and Save As > PDF are being provided by Office and not Acrobat.
Thanks

I tried doing both ways. I spoke with Microsoft and was told to contact
Adobe because they don't believe it is an issue with Word.
I think I figured out the problem, though. I was using Helvetica, a
non-standard font. It seems to work fine if I use a stock font, such as
Arial or Calibri.
