Yesterday I downloaded the recommended program updates for my Acrobat XI Pro and now the program won't open and if I double click a pdf doc, nothing happens. Anyone else have that happen. I'm on a Dell Laptop w 64 bit.

Yesterday I downloaded the recommended program updates for my Acrobat XI Pro and now the program won't open and if I double click a pdf doc, nothing happens.  Anyone else have that happen?  I'm on a Dell Laptop w 64 bit.

suspend your anti-virus, right cilck the acrobat exe > click 'run as administrator'.

if that fails with no error message, reset your preferences - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1595848?start=0&tstart=0
