UPDATE: I don't believe there is a solution to this. I ended up changing my scripts and eventually hit a coding solution that worked through a save/open. I have no idea which change "fixed" the form. Oh well.

------------------------------

I used Acrobat Pro DC 2015.006.30508 in Windows 10 to create a form that has 40 fields with custom calculation JavaScript. When I finish creating it and run it, it formats and/or populates 120 fields in about 12 seconds.

When I save, close, and re-open the form, the form slows to an unusable crawl.  I have to kill Acrobat from the task manager. It also kills Acrobat Reader 2017.011.30156. I have done this three times, now, and taken video evidence.

I work for a big company so neither I nor my users can update Acrobat or Reader. The form works perfectly in FoxIt reader, and takes only 1.5 seconds to populate the form, but that, too, is not an option for my users. I need these versions of Adobe products to work.

Help! What do I do?!
