Bad Parameter - Template

I have a project with a template I hide to spawn pages from. It has several fields, and I don't rename when spawning. Most of the time, if I unhide the template and I mouse over any of the fields (except for the title) on the original template, I get a "Bad parameter." pop up. Why? Can I fix it?

You'll need to be more specific, which template, which fields. Are there a specific scenario where this happens consistently?
