I need to combine the 1st page of multiple PDF files into 1 PDF file. Please advise if there is a script that can be run to do this

This can be done using a combination of an Action (in Acrobat Pro) and a script.

You would need to first collect the file-paths of all the files, and then insert the first page from each one into a newly created file.

If you have Acrobat Professional (any version) then you can use an Action for this. You'll need a script.

But you'll find Actions here that are close to what you want. It's a place to start.
