Convert a Binary file (BIN) to a temporary Binary (1) File (BN1)

Good day,

does anyone know how to convert a Binary file (BIN) to a Temporary Binary (1) File (BN1). I know this is old school but we have operating systems that read BN1 files, therefore I have to convert a BIN file to BN1 format.

Apparently the BN1 format is a software component of Adobe Reader by Adobe Systems.

BN1 is a temporary file that belongs to Adobe Reader, a freeware tool developed by Adobe to view, print and share files in Adobe's proprietary PDF format.

Is this a file format or a software component?

We are writing self developed software to a 1-meg E-prom in Binary mode using a ALL-100 Universal & Gang programmer. When we write BN1 files in binary mode our system are able to read the file, but when we write a BIN format file in binary mode the system is unable to read the file and only indicate blocks on the LCD screen.

The only connection is some junk web page which says that BN1 files are owned by Acrobat Reader. Even if true this would have no connection to the problem of flashing your device. One file type can be written by many apps with many meanings. Refer to file format specifications.
