custom separator style for numbers

I require to make the number entered in the field look alike Rs.10,10,10,100.10/- as such is the indian currency format but i am unable to find any such separator style in which it can separate like indian style, can you provide me with some custom format script so that it looks alike indian currency format Karl Heinz Kremer​

I have the same need cited by the original poster here several years ago. I am creating an interactive PDF with form fields into which users will enter numbers corresponding to amounts of Indian rupees. The default format for the "number" field places commas at the wrong places.

Instead for example of Rs.15,63,089.96 the field shows 1,563,089.96

I imagine I will need a custom script; writing such a custom script is beyond my abilities.

Thank you for your response. What level of fee would you require?

My need for this script is limited. I am on the Board of a small non-profit
working in slums in India, DIR. I made aninteractive PDF for creating monthly financial reports to send to overseas
donors. Ideally the staff could input numbers in Rps. in certain form
fields and the totals would display in other fields as US dollars and Swiss
Francs.

If the fee is not too large I could pay it myself as a donation to the NGO.
The organization's budget will not be able to cover it.
