Is there a way to get the name of the bookmark we are clicking on?

Not possible without changing the bookmakrs.

I assume you mean with a script... The only way I can think of is if each bookmark points to a unique page number, or if you can embed a script under each bookmark to place its name in a doc-level (or even a global) variable.
