I have a menu and a sub menu list, which should have a scroll bar as i have limited page size according to my User Interface.
It's not clear what your question is, exactly...
Im Creating a navigation menu within a maintenance manual. The UI is like this:
What you see is a main menu. There are sub menus under them. I need to show it as a menu with a scroll bar, as it is crossing the current Menu box size limit.
I need a scroll bar so that the menu does move over to Text section as shown above.
Are these form fields? How did you create this "menu"?
I created the UI in Powerpoint and exported to pdf.
Im open to create the same in pdf without powepoint, but anything with a scroll bar would be helpful.
That's not possible in a PDF file.
How about a drop down list? Is that possible?
Sure. There's a built-in drop-down field that you can use.
You can try app.popUpMenuEx(). It will not create scrollable menus.
These look very much like the UI already offered by Acrobat for bookmarks. Have you evaluated this possibility?
You can't create such kind of menus in Adobe Acrobat.
