It seems 'startPage' field of 'SearchQueryDataRec' structure is not used by 'SearchExecuteQueryEx' function

As a wild guess, if you are using an index to search I'd not be surprised if start page were ignored (as indexes are global). Docs don't say this though.

In this case, what shall be other fields to make startPage working ?

In my case, I have:

  • type = kSearchActiveDoc
  • scope = kSearchDocumentText | kSearchMarkup
  • maxDocs = 1

I think it shall work with these fields. So, what is the problem ?
