Hello,
I am a bit of a novice when it comes to using javascript with PDF forms. I have some experience with VBA. I've reached the limit of my understanding
I came across a form that has a shaded box on a page that changes colors when all of the fields are successfully validated, along with a message that says, "Valid" or "Not Valid" with a color change depending.
My question is, what is controlling the location of this box? Why is the output displayed in the dimensions displayed, and in that specific location?
Here is a link to the copy of the document. (Page six)
Thank you for any suggestions.
Without looking, but knowing what is possible with Acrobat forms, I imagine that what you see is simply a text field, marked read only. There is no setting of position, it is just already placed where you want it to be. Calculation or other scripts can make it visible or hidden.

TSN is correct. The field is already in place and there's a script attached to the document Will Save and Will Print events that causes it to update its value.
