New to this! I need to have a number already populated, repopulate into another field if a check box is selected.

then rating15 will populate with value from text46

And if the box is not checked? And should "rating15" be editable by the user, in either scenario?

If they do not check the checkbox8  then they need to be able to type into the Rating15 field.

And what if they change the value of text46 after ticking the box?

That is okay if they do that -  but the Text46 field could be made a locked field.

But if the Text46 field was changed, repopulation of it's value would need to occur

I've made Text46 read only so they can't change that value....   it can be put back if it would affect getting a formula for the checkbox issue to work.
