I had a disc with Adobe 8 standard which was registered etc.  I now have a new computer but have lost the disc.  I have a serial no registered with Adobe.  However the only Adobe 8 available for download is Adobe 8 Pro and when I put in my serial code I get a message code provided is invalid.  What can I do?

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

How do I reactivate Adobe Acrobat 8 pro? I keep getting an error message that I can't connect to adboe online to activate. I originally started with Acrobat 3, then 5, then stopped with 8 and am trying to install 8 on a new PC. I have all the serial/product codes

You can no longer activate it. A replacement was available, but taken down. Adobe Support might help you but there isn't much chance, it seems.

That's a big bummer. Adobe Support was no help and directed me to the forum. I'm wondering if I can just copy the files from the isntalled version on the old computer and reun that way vs trying to do a new, clean install.??

No, that won't work, because you can't copy activation. Adobe support are not supposed to send people here for this issue, as they should know that nobody here can help.
