after scanning docs, when I go to file menu and save as, the dialog box is empty. it was only intermittent, now it is all the time.
Please try to unmark the option "Show online storage when saving files" under Edit menu > Preferences > General.
Click OK at bottom to save the settings and then try to save the file.
