Windows 10 Acrobat XI requires Flash Player to view Multi-PDF files

Windows 10 and Acrobat XI

When I open a Multi-PDF file (Created by Backing up / Exporting several email messages from Outlook with Acrobat), Acrobat throws a dialog

'To view the Flash technology content in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat'.

Clicking on 'Proceed to download page' opens...

Adobe Flash Player needed for Adobe Acrobat Reader

You need Flash Player to view Flash content in PDFs, PDF Portfolios, and other features. Adobe Reader and Acrobat no longer include Flash Player, and features that require Flash now leverage the machine’s local copy of Flash. This new strategy allows users and administrators to manage Flash Player updates independently of Acrobat product updates.

Note that the Flash Active X component is not enough to display this content. A full Flash Player must be installed.

  Flash Player installs for end users 

1. Right-click and download the Flash Player Installer for Windows (Active X and Plugin) or the Flash Player Installer for Mac OS.
2. Choose Save Link As or Save Target As to download the installer to your computer.
3. Specify a location for the installer (such as your desktop), and click Save.
4. Browse to the installer
5. Double-click it to begin the installation.

NOTE: For Windows, download both Active X and Plugin.

QUESTIONS...

Do I need to install BOTH the Active X and Plugin versions of Flash Player to get Acrobat XI to work with Windows 10???

Why does Acrobat not work with Windows 10 built-in version of Flash Player?
