Hi
Am thinking to add some interactive elements to the annotation, to allow teachers to provide video/quiz/discission etc in context within a document; it seems the current Adobe PDF Annotation schema only allow text base bodyValue; but in https://www.w3.org/TR/annotation-model/#string-body , it specifies textual body attribute. Can this "TextualBody" attribute be included in Adobe PDF annotation schema ?
Many thanks
Wen
"bodyValue": String,
"body": { "type" : "TextualBody", "value" : "<p>j'adore !</p>", "format" : "text/html", "language" : "en" },

I'm curios as to why you want the link to external content to be in an annotation rather than a link on the document itself. External links work with Embed API.

Thanks Joel
my understanding is that, it's more efficient for learning to have resources and activity under the same viewport or as close as possible. It's not necessary to link out, could be aomw details tag open up to some embedded resources, like video for teacher explaining things in the context, or some quiz for students to self-check their understanding, or some questions for students to write down their thinking while learning, or some place to allow students ask questions in context.
In the context of university, learning resources are not always created by teachers; a course may be taught by different teachers each year, and some may want to provide their instruction of what to read and focusing on etc.
Hope this could be allowed, as I think it would open up more opportunities for elearning to be more efficient and engaging than here and there approaches.
