Alert box "Do you want to open this link..." is largely unviewable when click links at bottom of pdf

A embedded link forces the alert box "do you want to open this link..."

 

When this link is toward the bottom of the .pdf, it's unreadable and the buttons are unavailable; it is placed such that most of the alert runs past the limits of the container, see example below.

This makes it quite unusable. How can this be fixed?
