Hi

I discovered this this morning -

https://acrobatservices.adobe.com/dc-accessibility-playground/main.html

This looks very promising for checking accessibility. I tried some PDF's out and could see how it would automatically populate things like the Title tag whcih is great.

I noticed that it did not have a go at putting in alt text for images and figures. Do you have any plans to implement this in the future?

Thanks

Graham

Hi Tommy, sorry for the delay...

Automatically adding alt-text for images is on the roadmap but it's a very difficult task for software to figure that out, and especially for it to be useful. In the meantime, the Auto-Tag keeps the alt-text if there was some before, while all of the rest of the tag tree is reset and re-tagged from scratch.

Hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions!
