Can't download or read response from API as Octec stream

With the public API, how we can read the file?

It appears that we can only poll a octet/stream data I am having trouble reading the response from the API.

I'm having the same issue while trying to use the Extract API, where I'm unable to download the content from the response, would be a great help if someone could point me in the right direction.
