DocGen API Returning an Internal Server Error for 2 Specific Docs

Community Beginner ,
Jun 21, 2021 Jun 21, 2021

Error Specifics:

ServiceApiException [message =Internal server error; transactionId=ZaMHYIVTW2F79ZwwCV8jDwrDq1JeyDej, requestId = qZD8NvQf6m9MEmAyXUL1VsbebafBpi07, httpStatusCode = 500, errorCode = INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR]

ServiceApiException [message =Internal server error; transactionId=9MjoYY4wDNJyuDGPkfC2npD4Q2dlaDUV, requestId = jpwCIllZ1LWHOjl0CGsg9tkM7dhtJ0gp, httpStatusCode = 500, errorCode = INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR]

When using the .NET PDFServices SDK, I'm receiving the above errors when I attempt to generate PDFs from 2 of my documents. I have a list of 8 similar documents and only those 2 of the 8 are erroring. The JSON data being sent is the same for all 8 of the documents, so I don't think the error is there. I don't see anything in the documents themselves that might cause errors either.

I have been facing the same issue for the last Week. What is the solution for this?

Enterpise support ensured me typical response time was 24 hours, it's been around 96. This is a breaking bug.

Any chance you could share the Word doc with me, and JSON data too?

The ContractData.json file is the same file I send for both of the documents listed below.

These two .docx files fail 100% of the time I try generating them, however the 6 other contract documents I'm testing are working 100% of the time.

Sorry for the delay. I can confirm this issue. I've got it down to one particular page. Going to see if we can figure this out.

Hey Raymond, I just wanted to check in to see if there's anything I can do on my end to help move this along?

Thanks!

@Raymond Camden Can you let us know which page in particular is erroring in each document so we can re-write those pages to work around the error?

I forget what page it was on page 3, and literally boiled down to {{ Contract.FinanceAPR }}. It may also involve the table it is in. I got this to our engineers so hopefully we can figure it out soon.
