Does the Document Services PDF Tools API convert PDF to PDF/A?

Hi, I am looking to convert pdf files to pdf/a files.

Does the Adobe Document Services PDF Tools API support conversion of PDF files to PDF/A format, specifically the PDF/A-2U standards?

Not at this time. I'm curious to get you input though.

If the PDF contains elements that are not allowed in PDF/A (of any variety) what do you want to be returned? For example, if your PDF doesn't have ToUnicode mapping, what do you want to happen? What about if the PDF contains JavaScript? Remove the script and return the PDF or return an error?
