Without any explanation the Document Services API forum - which also refers to itself as the Document Cloud SDK - has been renamed as the Acrobat Services API. So this is a set of services which are not included with Acrobat, and not connected to the Acrobat SDK or the API offered by Acrobat, but now called Acrobat API. What could possibly go wrong?

Actually, we did let people know about the rename. I posted about it here yesterday. 🙂 We also shared the news on our developer blog here: https://blog.developer.adobe.com/adobe-document-services-is-now-adobe-acrobat-services-f8e3e506b7b1?...
Honestly, it's no big deal, just a branding update. None of our APIs are changing.

My concern is about people posting to the wrong forum, and - since there is very little overlap of knowledge among the regular contributors - there is often a period of confusion, followed by either a request to repost or the post is moved (or often both). Meanwhile, days are lost in getting help. In the past the incorrect traffic has been almost entirely one way - that is to say, users using the PDF embed/online services post in the Acrobat SDK forum. Such as this post from a couple of hours ago (I don't recognise the API mentioned but I guess it is this one) -- https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-sdk-discussions/getting-fatal-error-when-generating-pdf-usinf...
However, after this name change I suspect you will start to see a number of posts from people using the Acrobat SDK.
I think each forum needs a pinned post giving the info on where to post, maybe also a comparison of the two APIs (where they run, the business model etc.) In general the marketing and technical info for both APIs is all about that API rather than giving the Adobe developer context. (Which could also include PDFL and AEM, both of which answer some people's requirements posted in these two forums).
