pdf module to print

I would like to create a PDF form for a business card to be printed digitally so that each user can enter their own data and a QR code generated with any online service. I managed to create it, but when I try to insert the form into an online service, the inserted texts and images are not recognized. There are no incorrect settings in the fields. I also tried inserting QR codes saved as PDFs, but they are not recognized at all. The same goes for the texts. Can anyone give me a suggestion? It’s a pity if this cannot be done with a PDF.

Can you explain what you tried? You said you tried inserting QR codes saved as PDFs - where did you insert them? To be clear, this forum here is for users of the APIs, not users of Acrobat itself.

This can absolutely be done with PDF. Can you explain what you mean by "when I try to insert the form into an online service". Are you looking to have this functionality work in a browser?

Hi @,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

If you are still looking for a solution, here are a few observations:

The issue you're experiencing is likely because online printing services typically do not recognize form fields in interactive PDFs. Instead, they expect flattened PDFs where all text and images are embedded as part of the document.

Use Adobe Acrobat Pro to Flatten the PDF

  1. Open your PDF in Acrobat Pro.
  2. Go to Print (Ctrl + P).
  3. Select Adobe PDF as the printer.
  4. Click Advanced and check Print as Image.
  5. Click OK and Save the new PDF.

This will create a flattened version where all text and QR codes are embedded into the PDF.

Hope this helps.
