Search string in PDF file

Is there a way to do a string search in a pdf file using PDF Tool API? Basically I need to programmatically search through all pdf files in a folder and list the files names that have a matching string in its content

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, currently we do not have the support of string search in a pdf file in PDF Tools API. We have taken this feedback and we will definitely try to incorporate this capability in the PDF Tools API in subsequent releases.
